Meet Emma
Registered Nurse · Independent Prescriber · Aesthetic Practitioner
The person behind every treatment
When you choose Aesthetics by Emma, you're not booking a treatment with a clinic. You're booking with Emma - and that matters more than most people initially realise.
In aesthetics, the skill, judgement and integrity of the person holding the syringe is everything. Results, safety and the experience you have all come down to one thing: who is treating you, and what they bring to the room.
Emma brings over 20 years of NHS clinical experience, a deep understanding of human anatomy, and a philosophy built around honesty, safety and natural results. Every patient is assessed individually, every treatment is personalised, and no one is ever pushed toward something they don't need.
This is what nurse-led aesthetics actually means, and it's what makes Aesthetics by Emma different
A clinical career built on the hardest environments in nursing
Emma's nursing career spans over two decades in some of the most demanding clinical environments in the NHS.
She has worked in Accident & Emergency, where rapid assessment, calm decision making and the ability to manage complications are non negotiable. She has cared for the most vulnerable patients imaginable in Neonatal Intensive Care, where precision, attention to detail and composure under pressure are simply part of the job. And she has served as a Lead Nurse in a large GP practice, overseeing patient care, clinical governance and a broad range of medical services including women's health and immunisation programmes.
This isn't a background in aesthetics alone. It's a career built on genuine clinical depth - and it informs every treatment Emma carries out

How Emma approaches aesthetics
Emma founded Aesthetics by Emma on a straightforward belief: that aesthetic treatments should make people feel more like themselves, not different, not overdone, and never at the expense of their safety or long term skin health.
That philosophy shapes everything about the way she works.
Every patient starts with an unhurried consultation. Emma listens carefully, assesses honestly, and only recommends what she genuinely believes will make a positive difference. She will tell you if she doesn't think a treatment is right for you. She will recommend less if less is better. And she will always put your long-term wellbeing ahead of a short-term result.
Having spent her career in clinical environments where decisions carry real consequences, Emma doesn't take shortcuts. The same standards she held herself to in A&E and on the neonatal unit - precision, care, and complete honesty - are the standards she brings to every appointment at the clinic.
A note from Emma

"I started Aesthetics by Emma because I wanted to offer something the industry doesn't always deliver, aesthetic treatments led by genuine clinical expertise, with honesty at the centre of every consultation.
My NHS career taught me that patient safety isn't a selling point. It's the baseline. Everything else builds from there.
If you come to see me, you'll get my honest opinion. Sometimes that means recommending a treatment you hadn't considered. Sometimes it means suggesting you don't need anything at all. But it will always be the right advice for you - not the most profitable advice for me.
I look forward to meeting you."
